Today as I turned 53, that’s the song I was dancing to with my little grandson, Brady. It’s also the song I sang last night in the car on way to Good Friday church service with my son Luke.
As I woke this morning, I sent that same song to Lori (also 53 today) and some other friends, opened a few cards from my Dad and son Caleb, and received a call from my mother-in-law, Angie. Most importantly, I gave myself the CARD (“MY BELOVED, MY CHILD”) from God. It’s the card He gave me many years ago for His Beloved children.
In the last month, I’ve also given that card to 2 newborn babies, a 2 year old little boy, my 21 year old son, and 83 year old dad. The message never grows old and we are never too old to hear it. It doesn’t need to be reworded, but repeated.
“YOU ARE FEARFULLY & WONDERFULLY MADE
FULLY KNOWN & COMPLETELY LOVED”
The point is: Maybe we don’t need to wait for people to celebrate us. God celebrates you so dance with Him, sing a song you enjoy, and receive His Love Gift. Jesus is the WORDs on that love card, everyday and every year, to and for you. Whether a newborn, a young buck, a stray dog needing a home, an old fart needing joy, or anyone in-between just needing love - THIS MESSAGE IS FOR YOU!
